Connect ChatGPT to your reMarkable.

ChatGPT connects to your tablet through a custom plugin in Developer mode. Setup takes a few minutes, and the two fiddly steps are recorded below. After that, asking ChatGPT to send a doc to your reMarkable just works.

Open your ChatGPT plugins →

Paste this URL as the MCP server URL:

https://mcp.remarkdown.org/mcp

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Plugins, scroll to Developer mode, and turn it on.

    Settings → Plugins → Developer mode, then switch it on.

  2. Go to chatgpt.com/plugins and press the + button at the top right to open New Plugin.

  3. Fill the form, check the consent box, and press Create:

    • Name: remarkdown
    • Description: Search and send documents to your reMarkable device.
    • Connection: keep Server URL selected and paste the URL above.
    • Authentication: OAuth.
    • Check I understand and want to continue.

  4. ChatGPT takes you to an authorization screen — click Authorize.

  5. That's it. In any chat, press + and pick remarkdown to bring your tablet into the conversation.
