Connect ChatGPT to your reMarkable.

ChatGPT connects to your tablet through a custom app in Developer mode. Setup takes a few minutes; every step below has a screenshot. After that, asking ChatGPT to send a doc to your reMarkable just works.

What you can do

Push notes. ChatGPT drafts something, you tell it to send the doc to your tablet. It lands as a native notebook you can write on with the pen.
List and search. Ask what's on the tablet — folders, notebooks, recent edits.
Read notebooks back. Pull any notebook, including handwriting, into the chat as markdown. (Pro plans, with Document Reading turned on.)
Any reMarkable. reMarkable 1, reMarkable 2, and Paper Pro all work — everything goes through reMarkable's own cloud sync. Nothing is installed on the tablet.

Setup

Open ChatGPT connector settings →

Paste this URL as the MCP server URL:

https://mcp.remarkdown.org/mcp

Open Settings → Connectors in ChatGPT, then click Advanced settings.

Click Advanced settings.
Toggle Developer mode on, then click Create app at the top.

Activate Developer mode, then Create app.
Fill the form, check the consent box, and press Create:
- Name: remarkdown
- Description: Search and send documents to your reMarkable device.
- MCP Server URL: paste the URL above.
- Authentication: OAuth.
- Check I understand and want to continue.
Filled form, consent box checked, then Create.
ChatGPT takes you to an authorization screen — click Authorize.

Authorize to grant access.
Wait for the success screen — usually under a minute.

Done — remarkdown is connected.

Available in Developer mode on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu plans.
